Ballet Scholarships for Boys in Orange County
L
ois Ellyn Ballet Studio offers ballet scholarships for boys in Fullerton and Orange County who want to study classical ballet. Our scholarship program supports youth, teen, and pre-professional male dancers at a variety of experience levels. Whether a dancer is developing foundational skills or pursuing advanced ballet training, our program provides opportunities to grow.
Through professional classical ballet instruction, male dancers develop strength, coordination, technique, musicality, and artistry. In addition, students can gain valuable performance experience and build the confidence and discipline needed to succeed on stage. As dancers progress, they can continue developing their technique through more advanced classes and performance opportunities.
Because scholarship opportunities are limited, interested dancers must complete an application and audition for consideration. However, dancers do not need to be at a pre-professional level to apply. We welcome developing students as well as experienced dancers looking for more advanced training.
Founded in 1956, Lois Ellyn Ballet Studio has a long tradition of classical ballet training in Fullerton. Today, we continue that legacy by supporting the next generation of dancers throughout Orange County.

It has been such a memorable experience with Sheree King at Lois Ellyn Ballet Studio and Nouveau Chamber Ballet. My technique and strength flourished this past year, as well as my understanding of Classical Ballet Technique. I am beyond greatful to have had this experience. Due to my traing this past year with the studio, I feel prepared to work for a classical ballet company.
